February 27, 1992 - Senior Tim Quill scored a goal and added two assists in Stonehill Ice Hockey's season-ending loss to Bentley College.  Quill finished with 132 career points, breaking the College's all-time points record of 123 set by Butch Santouosso two seasons prior.

George Whetstone's ability to get to the quarterback helped the Skyhawks lead the Northeast-10 in turnover margin for the second straight season.

Cape Cod, Mass. - Stonehill senior defensive end George Whetstone (Westwood, Mass.) capped his monster final campaign with a selection to the ECAC All-Star team it was announced by the organization on Monday evening.

It marks the second straight season in which a Stonehill defensive player was named to the Division II team. Mike DeBye earned the award a season ago.

Whetstone anchored a Skyhawk defense that finished third in the Northeast-10 in points allowed (18.0 per game). He was second in the league in sacks (11.0) and tackles for loss (15.5), while finishing with 55 tackles. In the final two games, the Stonehill defense held its opponents to a combined 22 yards on the ground and seven points.

He had four games with multiple sacks and five games with more than two tackles for a loss. His 11 sacks are tied for third on the school's single season list.

Earlier this offseason, along with five other Stonehill players, Whetstone was named to the Northeast-10's All-Conference team as well.
