May 17, 1985 - Senior Joe Kelly was named Northeast-8 Conference Baseball Player of the Year. Kelly, an outfielder, hit .392 with seven homeruns and 20 RBIs.  He also scored 39 runs, stole 14 bases, walked 25 times and was errorless in the field in 49 chances.  Stonehill, which captured both regular season and conference tournament crowns, dominated the first team roster with four players selected.

The Northeast-10 Conference has partnered with PackNetwork to produce and air the 2008 Northeast-10 Football Media Day Event Live via the Internet free of charge to all fans. The event will be held live from Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.  This marks the fifth straight year that the Northeast-10 has held this event at Gillette Stadium.

The event, which will begin at 12 p.m. on August 5th, where coaches, student-athletes and media will meet inside Gillette Stadium. The Media Day activities include the release of the preseason coaches' poll, an outlook on the upcoming season from each head coach, the presentation of the annual Dick Lipe Media Award and a chance for the media in attendance to interview coaches and student-athletes one-on-one.

The Northeast-10 Football league includes American International College, Assumption College, Bentley College, Merrimack College, Pace University, Saint Anselm College, Southern Connecticut State University and Stonehill College.  The University of New Haven will begin play at the start of the 2009 season.
