Skyhawks, Gaels Renew Acquaintances In New Rochelle
With the longest losing streak of the Rob Talley regime staring them straight in the face, Stonehill returns to the field on Saturday for a road showdown with Division I-AA Iona. The Skyhawks, coming off of a 17-14 loss to archrival Bentley last Friday, got most of its production through the air against the Falcons with junior wide receiver David Pringle (West Haven, Conn.) snaring a pair of scores on his way to 115 yards on four catches. The Gaels, who lead the all-time series 3-0, are coming off an improbable win, scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter to defeat Pace, 30-26. Stonehill, the fourth-best rushing team in the NE-10, goes against a Iona defense that is yielding 213 yards per game on the ground. For those fans who can't make it to the game, you can follow the action via Iona's audio, video and live stats uplinks at the links listed below.
