March 4, 1995 - The Women's Basketball Championship tournament Most Valuable Player Michelle Doonan scored 25 points to lead Stonehill to their fifth consecutive Northeast-10 Championship.  The win was Coach Paula Sullivan's 450th victory.  Sullivan also received Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year honors for the fourth time.

TIVERTON, R.I.-- The Stonehill equestrian team finished tied for third of 13 teams competing on Sunday afternoon at the UMass Dartmouth Intercollegiate Horse Show, as Boston University took high point champion honors and Wheaton earned reserve champion accolades.

Sophomore Jamie Marsalise (Laurel Hollow, N.Y.) placed first in the open fences for the Skyhawks, who also received first place performances from sophomores Jenna Boyd (Middleton, Mass.) and Brianna Touzjian (Hopkinton, Mass.) in the walk trot and walk trot canter, respectively. Freshmen Megan Martinez (New York, N.Y.) and Kelsey Hill (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) recorded second place finishes on the day for Stonehill in the novice flat and novice fences, respectively.

Stonehill, which stands one point behind Wheaton in the IHSA Zone 1, Region 4 standings after three shows, returns to action next Saturday when the Skyhawks compete at the Boston University Intercollegiate Horse Show beginning at 9:00 a.m.
