February 28, 2007 - Matt Curran found the back of the net four times to defeat Assumption, 6-2, in the Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championship Semi-Finals.  Curran's fourth score marked his 29th goal of the year, passing the College's previous single-season record of 28 goals.  Curran went on to record 30 goals that season.

MILLIS, Mass.-- The Stonehill equestrian team began its 2006-2007 campaign in fine fashion on Saturday afternoon, as the Skyhawks took high point champion honors at the Tufts Intercollegiate Horse Show with a team score of 41 points to best reserve champion Boston College by 11 points in the final standings on the day.

Freshman Megan Martinez (New York, N.Y.) finished first in the novice fences and second in the novice flat for Stonehill, as she rode off for reserve high point champion honors in the competition. Seniors Brooke Clifford (Rehoboth, Mass.), Heather Marban (Ridgefield, Conn.) and Mary Shawn DeGaetano (South Huntington, N.Y.) placed first in the open fences, intermediate flat and open flat, respectively, while sophomores Jenna Boyd (Middleton, Mass.) and Naomi Crilley (Mountain Top, Pa.) were first in the walk trot for the Skyhawks, who also received a first place performance in the walk trot canter from sophomore Brianna Touzjian (Upton, Mass.).

Sophomore Jamie Marsalise (Laurel Hollow, N.Y.) finished second in both the open fences and flat, while sophomore Becca Clifford (Rehoboth, Mass.) was second in the novice fences. Freshmen Kelsey Hill (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) and Kelli-Ann Monroe (Swanzey, N.H.) also recorded second place performances in the novice flat in their first collegiate competition.

Stonehill returns to action on Sunday, October 29th when the Skyhawks compete at the UMass Dartmouth Intercollegiate Horse Show at 9:00 a.m.
