(June 12, 2012) – Stonehill College senior pitcher/utility player Michael White (Lisbon, N.H./Lisbon Regional) participated in the 38th annual New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) All-Star Game at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, Mass., last night. White was a reserve pitcher/utility player for the College Division (NCAA Division II & III) All-Stars that dropped a 5-3 decision to the University Division (NCAA Division I) All-Stars.

(February 24, 2012) – Stonehill College, ranked sixth overall in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) preseason East Regional Poll, opened up its 2012 season by splitting a pair of games at the Ripken Experience Northeast Challenge at The Ripken Experience – Myrtle Beach today. The Skyhawks earned a 1-0 victory in game one over Felician College but dropped the second game of the twin bill, 4-3, in walk-off fashion.

White Named To Tino Martinez Award “Watch List”

(February 6, 2012) – Stonehill College senior outfielder/pitcher Michael White (Lisbon, N.H./Lisbon Regional) has been named to the 2012 Tino Martinez Award “Watch List: as announced by College Baseball Lineup (cblineup.com). The award, given to the most outstanding player in Division II college baseball, is named after the former University of Tampa Spartan, Olympian, first round draft pick and Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star, Tino Martinez.
