May 24, 2003 - Three players from the Stonehill's 2003 Division II NCAA Championship team received Warrior/Lacrosse All-America accolades.  Collette Carpenter, who finished with 31 goals and 29 assists, earned Midfielder of the Year.  Carissa Medeiros claimed Goaltender of the Year for finishing with 133 goals allowed (6.17 GAA).  After scoring nine goals in the NCAA Championship tournament, freshman Erin Acone took Rookie of the Year honors.


Stonehill and Pack Network Launch www.stonehillskyhawks.tv

Athletic Department partners with Pack Network to offer webcasting services

EASTON, Mass. (September 9, 2009) - Stonehill College is pleased to announce a new partnership with Pack Network to stream live "Packcasts" of its home football and men's and women's basketball games. With the announcement also comes the launch of www.stonehillskyhawks.tv which will serve as the home base for Stonehill athletics webcasts and will also be accessible via www.stonehillskyhawks.com - the official website of Stonehill athletics.

All four of Stonehill's home football games, as well as all men's and women's basketball home games will be broadcast live via stonehillskyhawks.tv. Pack Network webcasts will feature multiple camera angles as well as custom graphics. The voice of the Stonehill Skyhawks, Charlie Bergeron, returns for his 12th season of calling the action for the football and basketball teams.

Each broadcast will be available on a pay-per-view basis, with the exception of Stonehill's October 10 football game with Pace University which will be offered free of charge as part of the Northeast-10 Conference's "Game of the Week" series. Single game subscriptions are available for $6.99 per game. However fans will also have the option of purchasing an "All-Access Pass" to www.stonehillskyhawks.tv for the introductory price of $49.99 through Thursday, October 15, after which All-Access subscriptions will increase to $59.99.

All-Access subscriptions will give fans the opportunity to watch not only all the live coverage of any Stonehill home athletic events, but also premium content not available to view without the All-Access Pass. The premium content includes an in-depth archive section of all video available, meaning you can watch the games live at W.B. Mason Stadium or Merkert Gymnasium and then go home and watch the broadcasts later.

The action on www.stonehillskyhawks.tv kicks off on Friday night for Stonehill's home opener against defending Northeast-10 champions American International College at 7 p.m. Stonehill is off a 1-1 start to its season following Saturday's dramatic 45-42 triumph at NCAA FCS member Wagner College on Staten Island. Following Friday night's matchup with AIC, the Skyhawks hit the road again for two weeks to battle Merrimack College (Fri., Sept. 18) and the University of New Haven (Sat., Sept. 26) before returning home following a bye week for the Pace game on October 10.
