February 28, 2007 - Matt Curran found the back of the net four times to defeat Assumption, 6-2, in the Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championship Semi-Finals.  Curran's fourth score marked his 29th goal of the year, passing the College's previous single-season record of 28 goals.  Curran went on to record 30 goals that season.

Weather Forces Schedule Changes To Weekend Events

Easton, Mass. - With the impending deluge of rain headed straight for New England, several Stonehill athletic events scheduled for this weekend have been rescheduled.

The field hockey match with St. Anselm, originally scheduled for Saturday in Manchester at 12 noon, will now take place at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 1 p.m. The Skyhawks and Hawks will now play in Manchester on Friday, October 24.

The men's and women's tennis matches against Nichols and Holy Cross, respectively, have been cancelled. Those events will not be made up.

The women's soccer match, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday at 1 p.m., will now take place on Wednesday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m.

Men's soccer has also been moved and will now be played on Sunday, September 28 at 4 p.m.

The cross country team, initially scheduled to appear at the Connecticut College Invitational, will now take part in the Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park on Saturday beginning at 11:30. In addition, the cross country teams will no longer take part in the Keene State Invitational scheduled for October 4.

Volleyball, scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. and Football, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday at Bentley, are still scheduled to be played as planned.
