May 17, 1985 - Senior Joe Kelly was named Northeast-8 Conference Baseball Player of the Year. Kelly, an outfielder, hit .392 with seven homeruns and 20 RBIs.  He also scored 39 runs, stole 14 bases, walked 25 times and was errorless in the field in 49 chances.  Stonehill, which captured both regular season and conference tournament crowns, dominated the first team roster with four players selected.

A 1996 Stonehill graduate and former soccer standout for the Skyhawks, Jim Reddish returns for his fifth season as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. Jim is currently a manager at the Ponkapoag Golf Course in Canton, Mass., where he oversees daily operations and coordinates golf outings and leagues. Reddish spent four years in the University of Massachusetts system, holding a position in Alumni Relations in Amherst and serving as the Interim Sports Information Director at UMass-Boston, while he earned his masters in Sport Management. He also spent a year with Boston College, as a Sports Marketing and External Operations Intern. In 2001, Jim earned his National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Coaching Diploma. His previous coaching experiences include the Millis High School varsity soccer team, Westwood High School junior varsity, and the Skyhawks Soccer Camps.
