After guiding her squad to its highest victory total in five seasons last spring, Danielle Delude returns for her fourth season as Head Softball Coach at Stonehill College looking to lead the Skyhawks up the ladder of success in the always-rugged Northeast-10 Conference race as well as regional prominence in 2007.

With last spring's 21-win campaign as a building block, Delude continues to work tirelessly and has transformed the program into one that will be contended with for years to come. The 2006 season was Stonehill's most successful since a 23-win performance in 2001, as three Skyhawks earned all-conference recognition for their efforts, including two individuals who earned all-Northeast-10 accolades for their performances both on the field and in the classroom. Stonehill posted its highest league finish in five years as well, just missing the final conference playoff position by one spot in seventh place while knocking on the door of NCAA regional play.

Certainly no stranger to the Stonehill softball program, Delude served as a Skyhawk assistant coach for four seasons, helping to guide the squad to 58 wins before being promoted to Head Coach in 2004. A four-year letterwinner on the diamond during her playing days, Delude batted .260 during her senior season of 1998 and led the team in RBI's, as Stonehill posted 16 triumphs that spring, the squad's highest win total in eight years.

A 1998 graduate of Stonehill with a degree in History, Delude, who currently resides in Easton, works full-time at the College in the MacPhaidin Library. She is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
