This year's event will take place on Friday, April 11th, and for the third straight year to can catch the greatest rivalry in sports when the Boston Red Sox host the New York Yankees for a 7:05 p.m. contest.
The 2006 and 2007 events were sellouts, so please act fast if you are considering attending this event. Remember, this may be your only opportunity to purchase tickets to Fenway this season.
The program for the night will include the pre-game reception at the Players Club at Fenway Park, a dinner buffet of classic ballpark food, tales from Lou Gorman of Red Sox tradition and lore, and a ticket to watch one of the most storied programs in professional sports as they attempt to capture another World Series championship. Tickets for the event are $150 per person.
In its eighth year, the annual Fundraiser at Fenway has become a permanent fixture on the Stonehill College Athletic calendar. In the event's first seven years, over $75,000 has been raised to support our 400 student-athletes in their increasingly impressive athletic and academic endeavors, which have led to such honors as the 2005-06 Northeast-10 President's Cup and the #1 ranking in the 2005-06 NCSA Division II Power Rankings for athletic and academic achievement. We would like to thank those that have supported this event in the past with their attendance, and hope you can join us again this spring.
We would like to especially thank Lou Gorman and the Boston Red Sox for continuously serving as our hosts for this event. For six years, Lou has been a gracious host and ensured the overwhelming success of this event. We look forward to many more years at Fenway and more importantly, many more championships for both Stonehill Athletics and the Boston Red Sox.
