May 11, 2003 - Stonehill College claimed their first Women's Lacrosse NCAA National Championship defeating Longwood, 9-8.  Freshman Erin Acone scored three times and added an assist.

ORLANDO - Stonehill College women's basketball is off to a 3-0 start after winning its first three contests at the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.

On Sunday, former Mt. Ararat High School student/athlete Erika Stupinski led five players in double-figures in Stonehill's 76-68 win over 11th-ranked West Texas A. Stupinski scored her points on four 3-pointers.

On Friday, Stupinski scored 12 points helping Stonehill to a season-opening 65-62 victory over St. Augustana (S.D.). Stupinski led Stonehill with four 3-pointers.
