December 18, 1994 - Stonehill Men's Basketball defeated the UMass-Lowell River Hawks, 81-79, after a steal by Jamal Gomes followed by a desperation lay-up from Rajohn Odum with four seconds remaining.  Chris Butler scored 25 points to crack the 1,000 point barrier for his career.  Butler was the 23rd 1,000 point scorer in the College's history.


Masson a hit at Stonehill

Acushnet's Katherine Masson recorded seven kills and six digs for the Stonehill College women's volleyball team in a season-ending 3-0 loss to Bentley College.

A sophomore outside hitter, Masson finished with a team-high 310 kills and also notched 185 digs for the Skyhawks (5-22), who will have a new coach next season after finding out last week about the retirement of Brad Alexander.
