November 22, 1994 - Senior Michelle Doonan recorded a single-game high with 39 points in a match up with the UMass-Lowell women's basketball team.  Sole possession of the record did not last long, however.  Junior Sue Patchett matched Doonan's 39 a season later.

AND THEY'RE SMART, TOO: Congrats to the members of the Northeast-10 All-Academic teams that were recently announced. Players must be at least sophomores, a starter or key reserve on their team, and have a cumulative grade point of 3.20 or better.

So, here's to student-athletes like Bentley junior Christina Sadowski of Salem, a volleyball player with a 3.84 GPA in corporate finance and accounting, and UMass-Lowell sophomore Missy Seeley of East Hampstead, a field hockey player who has a 3.52 GPA in plastics engineering.

The rest of the NE-10 all-academic selections with ties to New Hampshire are Colleen Eddy and Nicky Dumond of Southern New Hampshire, Rebekah Saunders (Gilford) of Stonehill and Kristin Applegate (Hampstead) of Merrimack in volleyball; Angela Barone and Elizabeth Ellis of Franklin Pierce, Heather Buda (East Kingston) of Bentley, Amy Larrabee (Stratham) of Merrimack, and Keri Sullivan (Goffstown) of Stonehill in field hockey; Craig Jasinski, Corey Dunn and Josh Lupinek of FPC in golf; and Kevin Bonnett (Manchester) and Sean Donahue (Plymouth) of Stonehill, and Gary Senecal of St. Anselm in football.
