Stonehill's Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse winning streak reached 67 Tuesday with a 19-0 shutout of AIC. The third-ranked Skyhawks (15-0, 9-0) face top-ranked C.W. Post (12-0) tomorrow.
Junior Amanda McGeachey was named the Northeast-10's goalie of the week for the fourth time this season after posting a 4.00 goals-against average. She ranks third nationally in Division 2 with a 5.94 GAA for the season. Stonehill and Bentley will meet to decide the regular-season championship Monday afternoon in Easton.
Stonehill tennis standout Mike Mashkevich, a former Globe All-Scholastic at Framingham High School, was named the Northeast-10 freshman of the year after posting a 27-10 mark in singles and doubles. Mashkevich and his teammates helped give 27th-year coach Peter Miller his 200th career victory last Thursday in a 5-0 conference quarterfinal win over Pace, which enabled the Skyhawks to tie the school victory mark of 15 set last season.
