To provide a program of intercollegiate athletics that is consistent with and serves to promote the attainment of the College's educational mission.
That achieves a level of success commensurate with the College's commitment to academic excellence.
That fosters school spirit, promotes pride in one's institution, enhances the quality of campus life and assists in keeping the alumni interested and active in the life of the College.
That encourages sportsmanship and teaches the lessons of self-discipline, sacrifice, and persistence and serves to compliment the student's academic training and moral and spiritual development.
That expands community service opportunities for its student-athletes to promote the good name of the College and reveal to them the positive experience of helping others.

That provides opportunities for participation in intercollegiate athletics to as many students as possible and fully supports the student-athlete with ample resources in terms of operating budget, personnel, facilities, and targeted financial aid.
