April 4, 1981 - Stonehill Baseball opened with four runs in the first inning against New Haven, the top ranked team in New England.  Converted outfielder Frank Auditore pitched seven innings, striking out five en route to the College's 5-2 victory.


Richard Munson

Richard "Dick" Munson became the 27th individual associated with the men's basketball program to be inducted into the Stonehill Athletic Hall of Fame. A prolific scorer for Stonehill in the mid-1960's, he finished with 1,448 points. Despite playing only three varsity seasons for to NCAA restrictions on freshman eligibility at the rime, Munson graduated as the school's all-time leading scorer and was only the second player in program history to ever crack the 1,000-point barrier. During his stay, he helped lead Stonehill to 34 victories including a school record 19 triumphs during his sophomore campaign of 1962-63.
