May 3, 1983 - First baseman Kurt Krohto hit .571 (12 for 21) to lead Stonehill to six wins in seven games.  Krohto was named to the Northeast-8 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his outstanding week, which included three doubles, two homers and 14 RBIs.

Laurie Dunn excelled as a two-sport athlete in softball and basketball during her collegiate career. The Rockland, Mass. native helped lead Stonehill's softball team to an overall mark of 82-32-1 (.717) , including a school record 25-8 effort during her senior campaign of 1985.  During that season Stonehill advanced  to the ECAC Championships. Dunn posted a career batting average of .318, including a .387 mark during her senior year, and helped lead Head Coach Fred Petti's squad to the 1982 MAIAW Championship with a 22-4 overall record. On the hard court, Laurie was a member of Head Coach Paula Sullivan's first NCAA tournament squad in 1982-83.  She led Stonehill to 21 victories and a Northeast-8 Championship.
