April 4, 1982 - In Stonehill Baseball's sweep of Sacred Heart, senior Frank Auditore threw a two-hit shutout, walking two and striking out seven.  In the second game of the doubleheader Auditore went three for four with three RBIs. Stonehill outscored Sacred Heart 14-8 on the day.

Jon Cronin finished his men's basketball career as Stonehill's second all-time leading scorer with 2,301 points.  The four-time All-Northeast-10 Conference selection helped lead Stonehill to the best record in school history as a freshman with 23 victories to go with the Northeast-10 Championship. Cronin was named as the Northeast-10 Player of the Year as a senior after being tabbed as both the Northeast-10 and ECAC Division II Rookie of the Year in 1989. He still holds the school record for career three-pointers with 308 and set the freshman school scoring standard with 627 points as a rookie.
