October 26, 1996 - Receiver Brian Adamson set a school record for most receiving yards in a single game.  Adamson hooked up with quarterback Tom Pincince for 212 yard and 10 receptions.  The two also combined for three touchdowns including a 39 yard TD strike to defeat Merrimack 33-6.

The fourth winningest men's basketball coaches in school history, Fran O'Brien guided Stonehill to 87 victories during his tenure from 1960-67. Four of O'Brien's teams posted 14 or more victories, including the 1962-63 squad, which posted a then school record 19 triumphs, a mark that still stands as the fifth highest single-season win total in school history. Fran, who currently serves as the Assistant Baseball Coach at Holy Cross, also served as an outstanding coach and administrator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a member of both the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame and the Randolph-Stetson Athletic Hall of Fame.
